The name says everything. Pario™ is Latin for "to create" — the root of the word parent itself. It speaks to the profound act of bringing new life into the world. And it speaks to something even closer to home: we chose it because of the women who first taught us what that word means. Our mothers. The people who made us who we are, and who made us want to build something worthy of the families coming after them.

We are parents who have spent careers inside some of the largest and most demanding consumer businesses in the world — from global household brands to category-defining baby and juvenile products. Between us, we have had the privilege of working alongside extraordinary teams to bring hundreds of new products to life, across every stage of development: from the first consumer insight to the last detail on the factory floor leading to delight for those in need.
What we learned from every one of those experiences is that great products begin in the same place: a genuine, honest understanding of the human being who will use them. Not a category assumption. Not a feature list. A human need, seen clearly.
We have studied how families buy. We have watched how they use what they buy. And we have spent years listening to what they actually wish someone would build for them. What we heard, consistently, was this: parents tolerate a lot. The sleeplessness, the worry, the steep learning curve of a new human. But the one thing they should never have to tolerate — and the one thing the market had genuinely failed to solve — was one of the most basic jobs of caring for a family: safely, cleanly, and permanently containing bio-waste in the home.
